Digitalcore offers imaging, analysis and interpretation of core material: whole core, core plugs, sidewall cores, cuttings and rock fragments. Digitalcore can process weathered, friable, unconsolidated and unconventional core (tight gas, shale and coal) where conventional core analysis is difficult or impossible.

 

Petrophysical Properties

Petrophysical properties can be calculated directly from image data. Property trends and cross-property correlations can be determined for different rock facies, as follows:

• Poro:Perm trends – kv and kh
• Drainage capillary pressure
• NMR relaxation response
• Acoustic response
• Full anisotropic analysis
• Petrophysical correlations
• Cross property correlations and rock typing (e.g. NMR:Permeability)
